“We help people align their lives
to the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

The Friedrich Bischoff Publishers Ltd. (Verlag Friedrich Bischoff GmbH) is an enterprise of the New Apostolic Church.

The Publishers also understand themselves as an international Christian media house. In addition to Church members and regional Church administrations, our clients also include bookstores, agencies and other publishers.

The roots of the Publishers date back to the year 1932 when the company’s founder, Friedrich Bischoff, took over the in-house print shop of the New Apostolic Church. The former in-house print shop has since developed into a successful enterprise, namely a publishing house with a total of more than 60 employees between it.

As an enterprise of the New Apostolic Church we provide information about current events from all regional churches. We also advertise, publish, and sell a broad range of high quality products. We have made it our duty to spread Christian values beyond all borders of denomination, age, and nationality.

The people at Bischoff

The editorial team, which consists of about 20 employees, is in charge of over 40 magazine products. Some of these magazines are printed by the print shop Bischoff Druck. Beyond that, significant partial editions are produced in Argentina, Indonesia, Russia, and South Africa. The master copy originates in Frankfurt.

Since 1951 Bischoff has also had its own Music department. It is in charge of producing scores and music for use in Church. Initially, the department produced recordings on records and tapes, which were gradually supplanted by cassettes, CDs, video cassettes, and DVDs. Meanwhile, the Music department offers some 70 productions—from demanding studio productions with trained choirs and professional musicians to live recordings of concerts and musical highlights from divine services. Further, the Music department has been assigned to advise New Apostolic regional churches in questions of copyright and user rights.

The “New Media” department of Bischoff is involved whenever a video transmission of a divine service of the New Apostolic Church takes place in Europe. The broadcast team, primarily comprised of volunteers, has in the meantime gathered 18 years of experience in international satellite transmissions. The technical equipment in Frankfurt, together with the know-how of the employees, ensures there is optimal reception at over 1,600 receiving sites throughout Europe.
